 The Advanis Rath Yatra The Rath Yatra began in Somnath on September 25, 1990, led by the BJP leader Shri L.K. Advani. This Yatra started from Somnath in Gujarat, a Hindu pilgrimage site with a temple reconstructed during the early years after India's independence and completed in 1951. The major involvement came from Home Minister Vallabh Bhai Patel and Mahatma Gandhi. In a similar view of Somnath, Advani started Ram Rath Yatra for the building of Ram Mandir in Ayodhya, as Ayodhya was a disputed site where Babri Masjid had stood for hundreds of years. This Rath Yatra was a political agenda with a pro-Hindutva stance, aiming to gain the confidence of all Hindus irrespective of caste and race.  There is a misconception among those who have failed to gain popularity and build stature like Modi. Modi's rise from a humble tea seller to Prime Minister did not happen overnight; it was the result of hard work and experience gained from interacting with every stratum of society, particularly the majority of India—the poor and the common laborers of the lower middle class. His extensive experience has enabled him to lead the BJP to become the largest party in India. In contrast, the Congress, led by Sonia Gandhi, who is a italian, lacks an understanding of the basic needs of the Indian people. Instead, she seems focused on maintaining her position as party leader solely due to her association with the Gandhi family. When they fail to deliver, they resort to cries of democracy. The black paper primarily focuses on the failures of the Modi government in addressing employment issues, the rights of OBCs, SCs, STs, the China border conflict, and inflation in basic food products. In contrast, the white paper predominantly discusses the economic crises that occurred during the Manmohan Singh era under the Congress regime. It enumerates numerous scams, the dismal state of the Indian economy left by the Congress, banking corruption, all supported by data from various agencies and citations from different economists aiming to illustrate the mismanagement during the Congress tenure. The Congress is attempting to garner votes by dividing Indians along the lines of SC, ST, and OBC. They repeatedly advocate for reservations for specific groups as a solution to their problems. This populist approach has been a hallmark of the Congress for the past 70 years, aiming to secure power and subsequently engaging in corrupt practices, as evident by various scams, once in office.

There are some major scams noted in the white paper released by the Modi government. However, the question arises: why have there been so few convictions during the Modi administration? I can only identify one case where some individuals have been convicted; for the rest, trials are still in progress, some taking more than a decade for a resolution. Is this due to bureaucrats not building proper cases or presenting evidence effectively? It's not convincing that while the government boldly accuses the opposition of numerous scams, it struggles to prosecute them effectively. This raises several questions: 1. Is bureaucracy inefficient? 2. Are bureaucrats not given clear targets for case completion? 3. Could higher authorities was negligent during the scams, do people have to wait till until their retirement? However, understanding the profound exploitation carried out by the Congress since independence doesn't require extensive research or analysis. It becomes evident when comparing the economic growth trajectories of China and India. China and India had similar economic conditions in the 1960s but chose different paths to development. Throughout this period, Congress and its allies were in power in India, indulging in extensive corruption until the people demanded change.
